I remember when I was juggling everything—our blended family’s schedule, work, trying to get back into shape—and I was a HOT MESS. No matter what I tried, I was either wired but tired, struggling to fall asleep, or dealing with mood swings that seemed to come out of nowhere. And let’s be honest: when we’re running on empty, we’re not giving our best to anyone, especially our families.

Do you spend your day meticulously tracking what you eat, trying to stick to that diet plan, even if it leaves you feeling hungry, tired, and frustrated? Do you avoid foods you love, labeling them as "forbidden," and even skip social events just to keep your food choices in check? Maybe you exercise, not because it brings you joy, but because you feel like you have to—as if it’s the only way to control your body. And when you see someone else with the "perfect" body, that pit of guilt, sadness, or even anger forms in your stomach.
I know this story well because I’ve lived it. I was trapped in that same Dieter’s Mindset, convinced that if I just tried harder, ate less, and worked out more, I’d finally feel good about myself. But instead, all I found was more stress, more guilt, and a life that felt smaller and smaller. The more I tried to control my body, the less joy I found in my everyday life.
